Santiago’s journey in the juice and flavor business started in 1986 and took him to management levels at various of the most important orange, lemon and apple processors in South America.

After nearly 20 years, he founded U-Citrus, a uruguayan based sales and logistics structure for world-wide supply of fruit juices. This platform synergizes the strengths of small and medium size juice processors in south america. U-citrus accomplishes this, while maintaining the independence and uniqueness of each participant.

Since its inception in 2005, U-Citrus has become a major player in the argentine industrial lemon business. It currently manages approximately 15% of the world supply of lemon juice.

In the seek for a new supply approach of citrus oils and fruit aromas, he co-launches Sunareva in 2019. This new venture, designed from scratch, is based on combining cutting edge technology, unparalleled access to selected fruit processors and a prime geographical and business location.

He holds a degree in economics and is married and the father of two sons.
