FACILITY
Sunareva is located in Parque de las Ciencias, a newly constructed logistics hub in the free-trade zone of Montevideo, Uruguay. From the state-of-the-art equipment and technology, capable of producing tailor-made Flavor & Fragrance Ingredients, to the centralized manufacturing and administrative functions, every detail of the infrastructure has been designed with our global customers in mind. The facility will also feature a highly advanced product development laboratory.
We are proud to announce, despite COVID related delays, we’ll start of our industrial operations in June of 2021. Construction is underway.

CHRISTIAN HEINEKEN
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Christian holds a master’s degree in Food Engineering from the University of Hohenheim (Germany). He has held a variety of R&D and Operations positions in a global leading European juice and flavor company, and spent many years setting-up and managing its citrus oil processing facility in Brazil. Christian’s activities have always been focused on essential oils, juice aromas, plant extracts, and ingredients to elaborate natural flavors and fragrances. His extensive experience allowed him to give support to many fruit processing plants around the world, helping them improve their product quality and yields.
Seeking new and exciting challenges, Christian has been appointed as technical advisor to Sunareva, bringing his technological, analytical and industrial operations expertise to the enterprise. Christian is married and has one son and twin daughters.
SANTIAGO MARTINEZ AUTIN
Santiago’s journey in the juice and flavor business started in 1986 and took him to management levels at various of the most important orange, lemon and apple processors in South America.
After nearly 20 years, he founded U-Citrus, a uruguayan based sales and logistics structure for world-wide supply of fruit juices. This platform synergizes the strengths of small and medium size juice processors in south america. U-citrus accomplishes this, while maintaining the independence and uniqueness of each participant.
Since its inception in 2005, U-citrus has become a major player in the argentine industrial lemon business. It currently manages approximately 15% of the world supply of lemon juice.
In the seek for a new supply approach of citrus oils and fruit aromas, he launches Sunareva in 2019. This new venture, designed from scratch, is based on combining cutting edge technology, unparalleled access to selected fruit processors and a prime geographical and business location.
He holds a degree in economics and is married and the father of two sons.

The juice summit, organised by AIJN, IFU & SGF, is the leading, annual conference for fruit juice executives from all over the world.
